William P. Statile

William P. Statile, one of nicest and kindest people who you could ever meet, passed away, Monday, December 16, 2024. Born in the Bronx, William was raised in Jersey City and Ridgefield Park. He would later move to Upper Saddle River with his parents when they built a new house there. William settled in New Milford where he has resided since 1986. 

William worked for many years as a Claims Examiner for the State of New Jersey, Department of Labor before retiring in 2002..

William is survived by his beloved wife Frances (nee Ragonese) as well as his loving brother Christopher Statile and sister Pamela Wetzel. He was predeceased by his late brother Anthony Statile.

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5 pm to 8 pm. The following day, Saturday, a funeral mass will be celebrated in his memory in the Church of the Ascension, New Milford at 9:30 am. Burial will follow at Hackensack Cemetery, Hackensack.
