Victor Rijos

Victor Rijos, 83, of Teaneck, NJ, passed away peacefully on March 20th, 2021. He was born on Christmas Day, December 25th, 1937 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico where he lived until moving to New York City at the age of 18. He met his wife Bienvenida soon afterward, and they were married for 58 years. Victor was a truck driver for over 30 years in New York City and enjoyed playing guitar and listening to salsa music from various latin artists in his spare time. He is especially known for his sweet tooth. He is survived by his wife Bienvenida, his daughters Flor M. Rijos, Elizabeth Rijos-Hughes, Yvonne Thomas, and his six grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the funeral home on Friday, March 26th, from 9 am-10:30 am. A funeral mass will be held at 11 am at Holy Trinity Church in Hackensack, NJ. Burial to follow at St. Raymond New Cemetery, Bronx, NY.
