Thelma Abella Sabolboro

Thelma Abella Sabolboro was 74 years old when she passed away Sunday, June 30, 2024. Born in Manila, Philippines Thelma immigrated to the United States over 30 years ago. Thelma was a hard-working mother of three daughters who previously worked in the jewelry district in New York City as well as had a career as a nursing assistant for many years. She was a devote member of the Igesia Ni Christo Church.

Thelma is survived by her loving daughters Maria Rhyna, Maria Rowena and her husband Kazu, and Maria Richelle and her husband Edgardo. She is cherished sister of Marissa De Guzman and the devoted grandmother of Mason, Mark, Jerald, Akina, Marian, Cassie, and Patricia.

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Boulevard Funeral Home, 1151 River Road, New Milford, New Jersey on Friday, July 5th from 5 pm to 9 pm. The visiting hours of 7 pm to 9 pm will be live-streamed. The following morning, Saturday, Thelma will be entombed at Mount Olivet Cemetery and Mausoleum, 220 Mt. Olivet Avenue, Newark, NJ at 10 am.
