Sebastiana "Nellie" Verdicchio

Sebastiana "Nellie" Verdicchio of New Milford was 94 years old when she passed away peacefully, Wednesday, October 27th. Born in New York City, Nellie was a resident of New Milford since 1972. She had worked as a legal secretary for over 10 years in New York City. After moving to New Jersey, Nellie continued her professional career in New Jersey. Nellie and her husband Francis were members of the New Milford/Teaneck Elks and the Church of the Ascension in New Milford.

Nellie was predeceased by her late husband Francis in 2015. She is survived by her loving daughter Dorothy Van Slyke and a son Joseph Verdicchio. Nellie was predeceased by her siblings; Faye, Gaetana, Rose, Connie, Dominick, and Rick. She was the devoted grandmother of Mark Van Slyke.
