Rebecca T. Tababan

Rebecca Tuzon Tababan of Cresskill, formerly of New Milford, was 81 years old when she passed away Thursday, February 12, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Santo Domingo, Ilocus Sur, Philippines. Rebecca immigrated to the United States in 1983. She earned a Bachelors of Science in Medical Technology from Centro Escolar University. When Rebecca arrived to United States, she lived in New York City where she worked for the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company for many years. She would later go on to work for Hertz Rentals and finish her professional career at Toys R Us. Rebecca was a longtime member of the Church of the Ascension in New Milford and very active in the Filipino community.

Rebecca is the daughter of the late Federico and Fortunata Tababan. She is survived by her loving sister Lydia Tababan, a brother Ricardo Tababan and wife Yolanda, and a brother Restituto Tababan and his wife Beth. Rebecca is also survived by 3 nieces, 3 nephews, and 3 grandnieces and 2 grandnephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, February 16th from 2 pm to 6 pm at the Boulevard Funeral Home, 1151River Road, New Milford. The following day, Tuesday, a Funeral Mass will be celebrated in her memory at 10 am in the Church of the Ascension, New Milford. Entombment will follow at Saint Joseph's Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hackensack.
