Patricia Ann Dempsey

Patricia Ann Dempsey (nee Cassidy) was 80 years old when she passed away on Monday, July 26th, 2021. Born and raised in the Bronx, Patricia was a resident of New Jersey since 1973. She married James J. Dempsey in 1962, and the couple would raise three beautiful daughters together. As their children grew older, Patricia would enter the banking industry to work for Wells Fargo until her retirement in 1999. She was an avid reader of Mary Higgins Clarke, enjoyed the thrill of completing crossword puzzles, and taking family trips to the Jersey Shore. But most of all, Patricia loved attending any of her grandchildren's events where she beamed with pride over her grandchildren’s milestones. 

Patricia was predeceased by her beloved late husband James in 1995. She is survived by her loving daughters; Lynn Dempsey, Kris Venechanos, and Kerri Dempsey. Patricia is the cherished sister of Eileen Vovchik as well as the devoted grandmother of Alberto, Kelley, William, Lauren, Thomas, Julie, and Nicole.

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, July 27th from 6 pm tp 9 pm. The following morning, Wednesday, a funeral service will be offered at 10 am in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
