Obdulia Morales

Obdulia Morales was 97 years old when she passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 7th, 2022. She was born and raised in Puerto Rico where she met and married Antonio Morales in 1947. The couple would later move to New York City where they raised their family. As the matriarch of the family, Obdulia loved raising her family and cooking for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Obdulia was predeceased by her beloved late husband of 42 years, Antonio Morales. She is survived by her loving children, Nilda Davila and her husband Artie, Louis Morales and his wife Margie, Nelson Morales and his wife Noriko, and Doris Sindet and her husband Jon. Obdulia is also survived and predeceased by many brothers and sisters. She is the cherished grandmother of Artie Jr. and his wife Sara, Eileen and her husband Stephen, Jessica, Stephanie,  Ricardo and his wife Yvonne, Cynthia, Kristen, and Kyle. Obdulia is the loved great grandmother of AJ, Vivian, Gia, Talia, Mason and Peyton. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, September 11th in the funeral home from 3 pm to 7 pm. The following morning, Monday, a Funeral Mass will be celebrated in her memory in the Church of the Ascension, New Milford at 10 am. Burial will follow at Hackensack Cemetery, Hackensack.
