Michelina Alise

Michelina Alise a generous, loving and selfless mother and grandmother was 83 years old when she passed away Thursday, September 12, 2024. Born in Somma Vesuviana, Italy, Michelina immigrated to the United States in 1966 settling in Fairview, NJ. She would later live in New Milford, NJ. 

Michelina was a seamstress for many years but one of her greatest joys was spending time in the kitchen cooking and sharing her red wine with family and friends.

Michelina was predeceased by her beloved husband Vincenzo Alise (2015). She was the loving mother of Assunta "Sue" Catania and her husband Biagio, Vincenza Reicher and her husband Joseph, Giuseppe Alise and his wife Olivia, and Giovanni Alise and his wife Maria.

Michelina leaves behind two brothers, a brother in law, and a sister in law. She is the cherished grandmother of Michael, Gabriella, Mateo, Nina, Ava, Giuliana and Gianna.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday evening at the Boulevard Funeral Home, New Milford, from 6 pm to 8 pm. The following day, Wednesday, a Funeral Mass will be celebrated in her memory in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, New Milford-Oradell at 11 am. Entombment to follow at Fairview Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association @ www.alz.org
