Michael John Eberhardt

Michael John Eberhardt of Bergenfield passed away suddenly on March 16th at the age of 66. Born in Teaneck, NJ, Michael was a resident of Bergenfield most of his life. He graduated from Bergen Catholic High School and went on to study business at SUNY Oneonta, where he earned his B.S. in Business Management. He then became the Accounts Receivable manager at his family’s business, The Florence Shop. Michael worked for many years as a skilled electrician before retiring in 2019, when he then devoted his time to the care of his beloved mother. He was an avid pilot who flew friends and family to places like Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket, Atlantic City, Block Island, and Maine. He loved to fish, scuba dive, golf, and spend time at the beach. He loved to travel, especially to North Carolina to spend time with his daughter and grandchildren. He enjoyed playing the guitar with his musical family.

Michael is predeceased by his parents, Robert C. Eberhardt and Joan (née Allgor) Eberhardt, and his brothers, Gary, Tommy, Paul, and Jimmy. He is survived by his loving daughter, Katie (née Eberhardt) Crownover, and her husband Michael, as well as his cherished siblings, Jannie and Chris "Biff” Eberhardt. He is also survived by his beautiful grandchildren, Quinn and Cooper, whom he adored.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Saturday, March 26th from 2 pm to 5 pm at the Boulevard Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1151 River Road, New Milford, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in his memory on Monday, March 28th at 9:30 am in the Church of the Ascension, New Milford.
