Maura McGrael

Maura McGrael was 91 years old when she passed away Friday, March 20th. Born in County Claire, Ireland, Maura emigrated as a young lady to New York City where she worked as a waitress at Stouffer's Restuarant for many years. She would later move to the Bronx before settling in New Milford in 1980 with her husband Michael.

Maura was the beloved wife of the late Michael (1986). She is survived by her loving daughters, Claire and her husband Richard, Cathleen and her husband Alfred, Patricia and her husband Martin and Donna and her husband Jon. Maura is the devoted grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a graveside prayer service Tuesday beginning 12:30pm in George Washington Memorial Park. Please arrive 15 minutes early to gather at the administrative office of the cemetery.
