Mary Helsel

Mary Helsel (neé  Leckie) aged 87 of Closter NJ passed away on Thursday, May 1st. Mary was born and raised in Scotland and came to the United States in 1960. When younger, she did a lot of volunteer work. Mary loved to travel, she loved the theater and the opera. Mary started an opera club and hosted many parties at her home. She enjoyed her weekly mahjong game as well. Mary loved spending time with her family, especially her grandsons. She will be missed by many. Mary is survived by her daughter Monica and son Sam, daughter-in-law Susan and grandsons Sammy and Benjamin.
