Martin Wolff Obituary

Martin Robert Wolff was 70 when he peacefully passed away on February 26, 2021. He was surrounded by family at the moment of his passing. He had been dealing with sarcoidosis for over 16 years and very recently got an infection that quickly took over.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years Billee Wolff (nee Moore), his daughters Elisha Charles (Earl), Diana Craffey (Matthew), 4 grandchildren Maya, James, Emma and Madison, sisters Carole Vanderhyde (Bob), Ruth Fick (Peter), and brother Rudy Woff (Kathy). He was always there for them and will be missed.

Martin was extremely devotional throughout his life, always searching for the truth of who we are.  He meditated regularly and loved chanting bhagans (traditional Indian songs of devotion) and the vedas, all of which he freely shared with so many.  He was sometimes painfully honest, the truth was so important to him.  In the last 20 years he went on many pilgrimages to India, specifically to Arunachala Ashram, at the feet of the holy mountain Arunachala and where Ramana Maharshi walked and lived.  He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Date to be determined:  A memorial gathering in 6 months to a year.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to: Arunachala Animal Sancturay and Rescue Shelter,  or The United Negro College Fund, or plant a memorial tree.
