Martha S. Ramos

Martha S. Ramos was 83 years old when she passed away Tuesday, October 15th surrounded by her loving family. 

Martha was born in Salta, Argentina. She would later relocate to the United States for her husband's medical studies at Yale University. Martha never returned to Argentina to live, she would settle in Tenafly, New Jersey and raise her three children. Martha was a teacher in Argentina and studied biology. Once in the US she taught Spanish and piano. She was an accomplished artist with a love of sculpting and painting. For many years, Martha was an active parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Tenafly where she was a member of the church choir.

Martha was the loving mother of Rafael "Rick" Ramos, Marcelo "Marc" Ramos, and Claudia Ramos. She was the devoted sister  to six siblings  of which she is survived by Ernesto Bauab and Ana Esteban and many nieces and nephews. Martha is also survived by her cherished granddaughters Giuliana Ramos, Kayla McDonnell, Lauren McDonnell, Angelina Ramos, and Gianna Clancy.

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, October 19th from 2 pm to 5 pm at the Boulevard Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1151 River Road, New Milford. A prayer service will be offered in the funeral home at 3 pm.
