Martha Alvarez

Martha Alvarez was 82 years old when she passed away Saturday, February 10th. Born and raised in Cuba, Martha came to the United States on September 4th, 1970. She had lived in Englewood and Northvale before settling in New Milford. Martha loved playing bingo and dominos, going shopping and cooking but she really loved Atlantic City. She is survived by her loving children; Andrea Marti and her husband Antonio, Jasmine Gutierrez, Martha Perkins and her husband Jay, and Jacqueline Alvarez. She was predeceased by her late son Raul. Martha was the devoted grandmother of Alexa Malone and her husband Michael, Juan Carlos Marti, Brian Deniz, Nicholas Perkins, and Joey Hasan and she was the cherished great-grandmother of Zachary Malone, Victoria Malone, Ryan Marti, and Anthony Marti. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in her memory Tuesday 10am in St. Ann's RC Church, Nyack, New York. Burial to follow Rockland Cemetery. Visitation in the Funeral Home Monday 4-8pm.
