Marie Romano

Marie Romano was 84 years old when she passed away Thursday, January 16th surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in the Bronx, Marie and her husband Eugene moved to New Milford in 1969 where they raised their family. She worked in the New Milford High School cafeteria for many years before retiring. Marie was a long-time parishioner of the Church of the Ascension in New Milford.

Marie is survived by her beloved husband Eugene of 64 years, a daughter Karen Martino and her husband Richard and a daughter Lisa DeNorscia and her husband Jimmy. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren; Gina, Michael, Alyssa and Nicholas.

The family will receive friends and relatives in the Funeral Home on Monday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. The following morning, Tuesday, a Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Church of the Ascension, New Milford. Burial to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
