Maria DeJesus Dubon was 88 years old when she passed away suddenly Sunday, December 20, 2020. Born in Olancho, Honduras Maria immigrated to the United States with her family in 1968. The family first lived in Cresskill for a short period of time before settling in Englewood where she lived out the remainder of her life. Maria had a career as a nurse at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center spanning over 30 years before her retirement.
Maria was predeceased by her late husband Domingo Dubon in 2012. She is survived by her loving children; Oscar Dubon and his wife Cathy, George Dubon and his wife Isabelle, Norma Dubon, Martha Falcone and her husband Jose, Ruth Goodin and her husband John, and Domingo Dubos, Jr. Maria is the devoted sister of Caridad Baken and David Guerrero. She is the cherished grandmother of Lynn Martinez, Daniel Dubon, Matthew Dubon, Emily Dubon, Sarah Dubon, Ian Falcone, Thomas Calascibetta and Johnny Goodin as well as the great grandmother of David Martinez, Sophia Martinez, Londyn Dubon, Lincoln Dubon, Mina Goodin and Evelyn Goodin.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the funeral home on Tuesday from 5pm to 8pm. The following day, Wednesda,y visiting hours will be held from 11am to 1pm. At 1pm, a prayer service will be held in the funeral home. Maria will then be laid to rest at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus
Due to the current global pandemic the funeral home will limit the number of attendees and social distancing is required.
