Mado Gajadar Obituary

Mado Gajadar was 84 when he passed away Saturday, April 19th, 2025. Born in Trinidad and Tobago, Mado immigrated to the United States at the age of 24. Upon coming to the United States, Mado lived in the Bronx before moving to Teaneck where he lived for over 30 years before settling in Dumont. He was passionate about Cricket and played in a Cricket Club in the Bronx, where he was able to make many friends and memories.  Later in life took that same passion to bowling and achieved a perfect game in 2009, he used to always reminisce about his bowling family.  Mado was known to be very kind and generous, always willing to help others, and touched the hearts of many.

He is survived by his loving son Vinoo Gajadar and his wife Amorette and son Anil Gajadar. Mado is the devoted brother of Girly Patel. He was predeceased by his brother Ramesh Gajadhar. Mado is the cherished grandfather of Kayla and Kaden and also survived by his nephews Shivinand and Sanaish as well as nieces Indira and Niala.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Boulevard Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1151 River Road, New Milford, NJ on Wednesday from 4 pm to 8 pm. The following day a Pooja will be offered at Rosedale Crematory, 408 Orange Road, Montclair, NJ at 1pm.
