Lemuel Magusara

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Lemuel Magusara, who left us on January 18, 2026, after a 10 month battle with cancer. Lemuel, resident of Dumont, New Jersey, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loved ones.

Born in Barili, Cebu, Philippines, Lemuel was a devoted husband/father/friend who will be remembered for bringing joy to those around him. Whether it be through his jokes or his cooking, he never failed to make people laugh and smile. He lived a life full of love, generosity, and care, always putting family and friends first.

He was a devoted husband to his wife, Wennie, and a loving father to his two kids, Mariel and Wendell.

Though he is no longer with us, his love remains in our hearts and his memory continues to guide us. We find comfort in knowing that he now rests peacefully in God’s presence.

A wake will be held on Friday, January 23rd at Boulevard Funeral Home in New Milford, New Jersey with visiting hours from 3pm-5pm and 6pm-9pm. A funeral mass will be offered on Saturday, January 24th at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Dumont, New Jersey at 9:30am. We gratefully welcome those who wish to celebrate his life
