Ken Young

Ken Young was 72 years old when he passed away Friday, July 3rd. Born in Canton, China he immigrated to the United States as a young boy with his family to Long Island, NY. Ken was a graduate of Tenafly High School and had attended Fairleigh Dickinson University. After marrying his wife Lisa of 41 years he lived most of his adult life in Bergenfield, NJ before settling in New Milford, NJ 15 years ago. Ken was a truck driver with New England Motor Freight for many years before retiring. He had many interests but what he enjoyed most was spending time with his family. He is survived by his beloved wife Lisa and his loving daughter Christina Colon and her husband Brian. Ken was the oldest of six children, he is survived by his brothers John Young, Leon Young and Neil Young and sisters Ying Cooper and Hsuan Lee. He is the cherished grandfather of Xavier and Brielle. A gathering will be held in the funeral home on Sunday, July 19th from 12 noon until 2 pm.
