Kathleen Ann Sweeney

Kathleen Anne Sweeney was 61 years old when she passed away in her home Monday, December 26th surrounded by her loving family. Born in Jersey City, Kathleen was raised in Teaneck, and resided in Cliffside Park for many years before settling in Bogota 22 years ago. She loved her family fiercely and her door was always open to friends near and far. She had an amazing sense of humor and a laugh that was contagious.

Kathleen was predeceased by her mother Geraldine Ann Higgins Brady. She is survived by her loving father Peter F. Brady, her devoted daughters Jessica Sweeney and her husband Jason Suydam and Kaitlyn Baylis and her husband Dennis, a cherished sister Patricia Brady and her adored granddaughter Adalyn Suydam. She was also survived by her dear nephews William and James McSweeney and her niece Kristen McSweeney. Kathleen was the great aunt of Janelle, Jovan, Gianna, and Ava.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Boulevard Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1151 River Road, New Milford, NJ on Thursday from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. A prayer service will be offered in the funeral home at 12:30 pm. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
