Juliet Chan-Perez of New Milford passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at the age of 60.
Born on January 25, 1965 in the Philippines to parents Johnny Chan and Elsa Caesar, Juliet studied banking and finance and later returned to school to study nursing. At the age of 30, Juliet immigrated to the United States to pursue her career as a Registered Nurse. She would later return to the Philippines to marry the love of her life Renato R. Perez. After returning to the United States with Renato, Juliet worked as a traveling nurse around New York City in some of the toughest neighborhoods. She went on to work in the ICU at Metropolitan Hospital and retired as the Associate Director of Nursing for the ICU at Lincoln Hospital. Her commitment to her patients and colleagues was unwavering. In 2018 Juliet was diagnosed with cancer. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, Juliet worked tirelessly on the frontlines, supporting both her patients and her peers with strength and grace.
Juliet had a passion for international travel and used her remaining time with her beloved Renato to visit the Holy Land, West Bank and most recently Bermuda.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 31 years, Renato R. Perez, their loving daughter Camille C. Perez, sisters Jane Perez, Judith Chan, Jessica Chan, and her brother, Johnny Chan Jr.
Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Boulevard Funeral Home, 1151 River Road, New Milford, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Ascension, New Milford. Interment will follow at 11:45 AM at Christ the King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes, New Jersey
