Joseph John Woznicki

Joseph John Woznicki of New Milford was 83 years old when he passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021. Born and raised in Jersey City, Joseph was very active in Hudson County sports. He proudly served his country in the United States Army National Guard for 6 years. Before retiring, Joseph was a Steelworker with General Corrugated for 33 years as well as Enterprise Corrugated for 10 years. He was active with New Milford recreational sports for many years having served on the New Milford Little League Board of Directors while spending years coaching and managing Little League teams. He later volunteered as a coach for the New Milford Babe Ruth League where he helped build the clubhouse. In retirement he became "Mr. Fix It" always helping friends and neighbors with projects.

Joseph is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years Christine (nee Lymp), his loving sons; John and his wife Lisa, Peter and his wife Julia and Gregory and his wife Cortney. Joseph is predeceased by his late brother George. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren Hayden, Hailey, Ethan and Chloe.
