Joseph P. Meyer Jr.

Joseph P. Meyer Jr. of New Milford was 91 years old when he passed away Monday, November 8th surrounded by his loving family. Born in Teaneck, Joseph was raised in Bergenfield. He would later settle in New Milford where he has lived since 1962. Joseph proudly served his country in the Korean War with the United Sates Army from 1951 to 1953. Joseph was a devoted parishioner of the Church of the Ascension in New Milford. He is survived by his beloved wife Mary Anne ( nee Tenney) his children Joan McGoldrick, Joseph E. Meyer, Stephen J. Meyer,  and Robert J. Meyer and his wife Shenella. Joseph is predeceased by his late son Thomas Meyer, his daughter Maureen Botcher and his sister Dorothy Meyer. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital by visiting www.stjude.org
