Joseph G. LaMonaca

Joseph G. LaMonaca, an avid animal lover, was 63 years old when he passed away Thursday, January 14th. Born in Palermo, Italy, Joseph came to the United States as a young boy. He was later raised in the Bronx before settling in New Milford. Joseph was a graduate of New Milford High School and later went on to work for the New Milford Board of Education for many years before retiring.

Joseph is survived by his loving brother Gerry LaMonaca and his wife Linda, his cherished nieces and nephews Gerlando LaMonaca, Jr., Melinda LaMonaca, Jennifer Rusek and her husband John and Christopher DePasquale and his wife Jessica as well as his loving great nieces and Savannah and Avery and a great nephew Thomas James. Joseph also leaves behind many dear cherished cousins. 

Friends and relatives are invited to attended visiting hours on Saturday from 1pm to 4pm in the Funeral Home. At 3pm a prayer service will be offered. Due to the pandemic social distancing will be required and attendance will be limited. For those unable to attend the family understands your concerns, please leave a condolence on this website for the family to know you were thinking about them.
