Joseph A. Dorf

Joseph A. Dorf was 68 years old when he passed away Sunday, April 9, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Joseph was a resident of New Milford for over 24 years. He was a retired Senior Computer Operator for New Jersey Transit for many years.

Joseph was the devoted father of Tara Ann Dorf and Lauren Dorf. He is the cherished brother of Michelle Dorf, Linda Sammut, and Robert Dorf. Joseph was predeceased by his late sister Ann Marie Dorf and late brother Stephen Dorf. He is also survived by his adoring grandchildren Alyssa, Anthony, and Marcelo as well as his nieces and nephews Anthony Dorf, Jennifer Walmach, Michael Sammut and Danielle Sammut.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Boulevard Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1511 River Road, New Milford on Tuesday from 4 pm to 8 pm a. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday morning at 10 am in the Church of the Ascension, New Milford. Burial will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
