Obituary

Jose Otero was 60 years old when he passed away suddenly Tuesday, April 11th. Born and raised in New York City, Jose would later settle in New Jersey. Jose attended Seward Park High School in New York City and went on to graduate the Fashion Institute of Technology where he studied architecture and design. Jose was employed by Time Warner Cable and later Time Warner Communications for over 20 years. He loved architecture, aerospace and aeronautics, traveling, 1980's and 1990's dance music but above all else he loved people. Jose was a very people oriented person who love everyone and helping others was his passion.

Jose is survived by his wife Evelyn Perez Otero, son Devin Otero, sister Elsie Otero,  brother David Otero was well as cousins Jose Martinez, Eugene Butler, and Joey Butler.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass being celebrated in the Church of the Ascension, 256 Azalea Drive, New Milford, on Friday, April 21st at 10 am. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, 224 Westminster Place, Saddle Brook, NJ.
