October 28, 1970 ~ January 21, 2021 (age 50)

Obituary

John Ramirez, an avid car and motorcycle lover, was 50 years old when he passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2021. Born and raised in New York City then transitioned to residing in New Jersey. He loved his career of 25+ years as an Optician and Manager in several Opticals throughout New York.

John was "the life" of everyone's party who loved "perico ripiao" and bachata music. He would always light up any room with a smile from ear to ear with his deep profound dimples and his unique laughter.  A loving, caring and extremely hard working father, a son who admired and cherished his parents and family.  A brother who was always there for his siblings. An incredible grandfather to Adrian who called him "Papa", an unconditional father to his two beautiful children. His family always came first to him. John's loyalty to others was unexplainable, he was very popular with many friends and coworkers who loved him. He had a charismatic and flirtatious personality that  made it hard for anyone not to adore him.

John is survived by his loving parents, Juan and Mercedes Ramirez, his siblings, Elizabeth, Alex and Edgar Ramirez, his children Amy and Jeremy Ramirez, his grandson Adrian Bruno, his cherished nieces Tiffany and Natalie Torres and Sabrina and Kaylie Ramirez. John also leaves behind many dearly cherished cousins, aunts and uncles. We will always have John in our heart and prayers. His legacy will always carry on.
