Joanne M. Hudes

Joanne M. Hudes, 76, of New Milford passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022.  She was born in New York City on June 18, 1945 to Milton and Edna (née: Falvey) Hudes. 

Ms. Hudes was a teacher and worked for the Liberty Academy in Jersey City before she retired.  She was an avid crocheter. Joanne was also an Eucharistic Minister, a member of the Prayer Shawl Ministry, Corner Stone and a lifelong member at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Oradell.

She is the devoted mother of Kenneth and his wife Gina Cavallo-Hudes, proud grandmother of Nickolas, Cody and Angelique, loving sister of Thomas and his wife Kathie and the late Howard “Bobby” Hudes and dear aunt of Michael, Matthew and Lisa Hudes. 

The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday January 30, 2022 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, January 31, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Oradell at 10 am. Cremation will be private.
