Jo Ann Sullivan

Jo Ann Sullivan was 78 years old when she passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024. Born in Jersey City, Jo Ann lived most of her life in North Bergen. She was a graduate of Jersey City State College. Jo Ann worked for many years at Agilon. She loved to play cards, boardgames, creating arts and crafts, and go fishing. She cherished spending time with her husband Joseph at the Palisades Interstate Park admiring the overlook. Her favorite thing to do was shop and enjoy the company of her family and friends. She had a loving heart and enjoyed buying gifts for her loved ones. Jo Ann brought love, laughter and joy to those around her.

Jo Ann was predeceased by her late husband Joseph Sullivan in 2007 and her late sister Marylou Batayiannis in 2021. She is survived by her loving nieces and nephews Arthur Batayiannis and his wife Danielle, James Batayiannis, Patricia Batayiannis, and Shannon Batayiannis. Jo Ann was the cherished great aunt of James Batayiannis Jr., Brandon Batayiannis, and Stephanie Batayiannis.

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, May 22nd from 11am to 1 pm at the Boulevard Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1151 River Road, New Milford, NJ. A prayer service will be offered in the funeral home at 1 pm. Burial will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
