James Thomas Mcleod Dickson

James Thomas McLeod Dickson, beloved father, husband, and general source of wisdom, died peacefully in his sleep Wednesday January 17, 2024 at his home in New Milford, NJ.

James was born June 12th, 1931 in Castlederg, Northern Ireland to parents Mary and Thomas Dickson. James moved from Northern Ireland to Toronto, Canada in 1953, where he met his wife Rina who had moved there from Scotland.  They moved to New Milford, NJ in 1960.  

James worked as an electrician, and plant engineer.  He was a skilled fabricator who could make or fix just about anything.  He was a fixture in the vintage British sports car community and enjoyed driving and showing his Morgan.

James is mourned by his wife Rina, his children Rina, James, Colleen and Andrew, his grandchildren Colleen, Angelo, Allie, Dennis, Hayley, Ashley, John (deceased), James, Maverick and Lyon,  and his great grandchildren Teagan, Kayden, Nikolai, Carter, Tyler and Melody.

A memorial service will be hosted on January 27 from 2pm to 5pm at Boulevard Funeral Home 1151 River Rd, New Milford, NJ.
