James Allen Leichner

James Allen Leichner died unexpectedly on February 20, 2021 at the age of 61. He was born in Torrance, California to Wendy Leichner, née Horton and Floyd Guy Leichner. He graduated with a degree in Engineering Physics from Cornell University and soon settled in Yonkers, New York, where he met his wife, Maria Coloma in 1985. They married in 1987 and had 2 children: Rachel Ann in 1995 and Steven James in 1997. They moved to Teaneck, New Jersey in 1997.

Jim was a highly intelligent man who loved to read and listen to music, as well as watch television. He found his passion for computers and worked as a consultant, most recently for 4Sight Supply Chain Group. Jim was a kind, honest, hard-working person who loved his family above all else. He is survived by his wife, Maria, their daughter, Rachel of Pelham, NY and their son, Steven of Columbia, SC as well as his father, Floyd of Highlands Ranch, CO, his brother, Dave and his family of Highlands Ranch, CO and his brother, John and his family of Colorado Springs, CO as well as many other family members and friends.

A simple service will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 2 – 5 pm, with the sharing of memories at the 4:00 hour.
