James Dusenbery

James Edward Dusenbery of New Milford was 72 years old when he passed away Friday, January 9, 2026. Born in Teaneck, James was a longtime resident of New Milford. He worked in Grounds and Security at the Dwight Englewood School for many years before retiring 5 years ago. He volunteered as the Resident Blacksmith with the Bergen County Historical Society and served as a longtime member of the Bergen Community College Horticulture Committee. 

James is survived by his beloved wife Barbara (nee Finno) Dusenbery. He was the loving father of Annie Dusenbery and Jesse Dusenbery and his wife Minh James was predeceased by his late sister Mary Virginia Mason. He was the devoted Bapa of JJ and Jaxon. James was also survived by many nieces and nephews.
