Edith B. Licata

Edith B. Licata of New Milford was 96 years old when she passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2023. Born in Brooklyn, Edith was a resident of New Milford for 70 years. She was an active member of her community serving in the Ladies Auxiliary of the New Milford-Teaneck Elks Lodge #2290 as well as performing in town shows. Her greatest joy was spending time with her loving family. 

Edith was predeceased by her husband Paul Licata in 2016 and a son David Licata in 2022. Edith is survived by her daughter Lynn Voorhees and her husband Garrett, her son Thomas Licata and his wife Frances, her son Stephen Licata and his wife Valerie, her son Paul Licata, Jr. and his wife Bettylou and her daughter Diane Platt and her husband Kenny. Edith was predeceased by her brothers Herbert and Arthur Brunt. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours Saturday, February 4th from 11 am to 1 pm in the funeral home. A prayer service will be offered in the funeral home at 1 pm. Burial will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
