Dorothy Adashefski

Dorothy Adashefski was 91 years old when she passed away Friday, January 21st. Born in Butler, PA, Dorothy was raised in New York City. She had resided in New Milford for 21 years before moving to Las Vegas, Nevada and eventually settling in the Austin, Texas area. Her favorite job was working at the University of Nevada - Las Vegas Biological Sciences Department where she dealt with the professors and students on a daily basis. Dorothy was predeceased by her late husband Andrew Adashefski in 1989. She is survived by her sons, Douglas and Michael Adashefski. She is also survived by her grandchildren Nigel and Melina and a sister Janice Nelli. Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, February 1st, from 6 pm to 8 pm. The following day, Wednesday, a Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Church of the Ascension, New Milford at 9:30 am. Burial to follow in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
