Dora DePalo

Dora DePalo of Little Italy, New York City, was 92 years old when she passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. Born in Giovinazzo, Italy, Dora immigrated to the United States at the age of 16. She was a longtime member of the Saint Anthony Society in Little Italy. Dora loved to cook and feed everyone who came to visit. Dora will be greatly missed for her taralli and focaccia bread.

Dora was predeceased by her beloved late husband Giuseppe DePalo in 2019. She is survived by her loving children, Rose Ann Scoppa and her husband Arthur and Vito DePalo and his wife Lisa. Dora was predeceased by her sisters Stella DiBari and Theresa Martucci. She is the cherished grandmother of Kristina, A.J., Alexandra, and Joseph and the great grandmother of Ryan and Lucas.

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Boulevard Funeral Home, 1151 River Road, New Milford on Thursday, October 9th from 2 pm to 7pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in her memory the following morning, Friday, at 10 am in the Church of the Ascension, New Milford. Entombment will follow at Saint Joseph Cemetery, Hackensack.
