Devin Alex Willock

Devin Alex Willock of New Milford was 20 years old when he passed away Sunday, January 15, 2023. Born in the Bronx, New York, Devin’s family moved to New Jersey when he was 4 years old. While growing up in New Milford Devin attended Berkley School, Gibbs School, and New Milford High School. He would later transfer to Paramus Catholic High School where he excelled on the football field earning a scholarship to the University of Georgia. As a Georgia Bulldog offensive lineman, Devin helped his team win back to back National Championships.  Beyond his accomplishments on the football field his family wants Devin to be remembered for his kindness and smile, knowing he will always be loved and never forgotten.

Devin is survived by his parents Dave and Sharlene Willock, brother Dave Willock II, grandparents Yvonne and Lennox John and Delores Christian, aunts Cathy and Tracey John, Ceiley Stout, Beverley Willock, Natalie Southwell and Eureka Roberts, uncles Bradley John, Derrick, Goodwin, Earl, Richie, Kenny, Byron, and Elmors Willock. Devin is also survived by many cousins and his girlfriend Kate Moseley.

Friends and family may attend visiting hours at the Boulevard Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1151 River Road, New Milford, NJ on Thursday evening from 5 pm to 8 pm. Friday morning a funeral service will be held at 11 am in The Community Baptist Church of Englewood, 224 First Street, Englewood, New Jersey. Following the funeral service, Devin will be buried at Maple Grove Park Cemetery, South Hackensack, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, those interested in supporting the Willock family may do so by giving to a gofundme established in his memory, please click on the link.
