Denise Gallagher-Baum

Denise Gallagher-Baum of New Milford was 52 years old when she passed away suddenly Sunday, March 14th. Born and raised in Chelsea, New York City, Denise also spent a great deal of her childhood in Cresskill, New Jersey. Denise also loved New Milford, New Jersey where she's been a resident since 2003.

Denise's passion was decorating the house for the holidays and all seasons as well as bringing her family together to host parties for the holidays. Denise loved her family and spending time with her friends. She was bright, extremely quick witted, who put on a tough exterior but deep down was the most caring person you'll ever know.

She is the cherished daughter of Arthur Gallagher and the late Catherine (nee Ryan) Gallagher, the beloved wife of Paul J. Baum, the loving mother of Brendan Baum, and the devoted sister of Arthur Gallagher Jr., and Sean Gallagher. Denise is also survived by her dear Cousin Lori, Aunt Rosemary, the Squitieri Family and her cats Willie and Peppa.

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Boulevard Funeral Home and Cremation Service on Thursday from 2 pm- 4 pm and 7 pm- 9 pm.

The following day, Friday, a Funeral Mass will be celebrated in her memory in the Church of the Ascension, New Milford  beginning 10 am. If you wish to attend the funeral mass preregistration is required. Please call the funeral home prior to 8 pm Thursday evening at 201-692-0100 with the name and phone number of the attendees of the mass or preregister in person at the funeral home on Thursday during the visiting hours.
