Christine Woznicki

Christine Woznicki of New Milford was 84 years old when she passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022. Born and raised in Elizabeth, NJ, Christine was a resident of New Milford for 53 years.
Before marrying her husband Joseph Woznicki, Christine was employed by American Airlines as a Reservationist in New York City. While at American Airlines, Christine traveled to 25 States and 25 Countries. She would later leave her position with American Airlines to raise her family. While doing so she served as the Vice President of the PTO at the Gibbs School where her boys attended. She was also on the Board of the New Milford Little League and always at their games cheering for her little ones. Christine was also a member of the New Milford Swim Club for 53 years where she enjoyed spending her summer afternoons at the pool. She  found great joy in reading and sharing books with her friends.
Christine was predeceased by her late parents George and Angelica Lymperopolus as well as her beloved late husband Joseph Woznicki of 54 years. She is survived by her loving sons Peter Woznicki and his wife Julie and Gregory Woznicki and his wife Cortney. Christine is the cherished grandmother of Hayden Woznicki, Hailey Woznicki and Ethan Woznicki.She is the devoted sister of Cleo Lymperopolus.

A Funeral Liturgy will be offered on Friday, September 16th at 10 am in the Metropolitan Cathedral of St. John the Theologian, 353 East Clinton Avenue, Tenafly, NJ. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery, Linden, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital www.stjude.org
