Carmen Helena Bayuelo was 86 years old when she passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. Born in Rotinet, Colombia Carmen Bayuelo immigrated to the United States in 1970 with her late husband Valerio Bayuelo to pursue the American dream and to provide their children with a better life. As many immigrants, they struggle to survive and always emphasized to their children that the only way to succeed in the United States is through hard work and education. Today we mourn her but we are also celebrating her life.
Her legacy continues today with her children and grandchildren. Fly high Carmen Bayuelo. You will be in our hearts forever.
Carmen was predeceased by her late husband Valerio. She is survived by her loving children Alfonso, Alvaro, Juan, and Carlos. Carmen was the cherished sister of Carolina, Manuel, Gladys, and Leonor. She was the devoted grandmother of Carolina, Daniel, Alvaro Jr., Andreas, Lucas, Sofia, Elliot, Oliver, Sebastian, and Carlos.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 am in Sacred Heart Church, 102 Park Street, Haworth, NJ on Saturday, May 4th at 11 am.
