Carmen Martinez

The family of Carmen Martinez is deeply saddened to announce her passing on Tuesday, April 28, 2026.
Born on December 4, 1938, in Cartagena, Spain, Carmen lived a full and remarkable life and touched the hearts of everyone she met.
Carmen will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Jose, her daughter, Marina, her sons, Jose and Peter and her grandchildren, Karina, Matthew, Chris, Danny, Tyler, Katy, Zachary, Ellie, and Jack, along with many cherished friends.
She was the greatest mother and grandmother anyone could ever ask for. Carmen cared deeply for her family above all else, always making sure they felt loved and safe. Her beautiful voice and amazing cooking will be remembered by all who knew her.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, April 30th, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Boulevard Funeral Home, 1151 River Road, New Milford. The following day, Friday, a Funeral Mass will be celebrated in her memory at 10 AM in St. Francis Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack. Burial will follow at Westwood Cemetery, Westwood.
