Carmelita Maspono Garcia was born in the Philippines on July 16th, 1947, the eldest of 8 siblings. She came to the US at just 18 years old with hopes of building a family with a prosperous future. Working 3 jobs as a laboratory technician with only a few hours of sleep every day is just a small example of sacrifices she made for those she loved. She was able to enjoy spending time with her family in the US after her retirement as well as visiting her dream home she built with Eddie in Tagatay, Philippines.
Carmelita was a loving wife to predeceased late husband, Eddie Garcia. She is survived by her 3 children - Pia Lenore, Carl Edward and Shirley Jill, as well as her daughter-in-law Sheryl and son-in-law Nick. She is also survived by 3 siblings, Margarita Santos, Petronilo Maspono and Thelma Domingo. She is predeceased by her other siblings, Aurelia Guino, Juanito Maspono, Ramon Maspono and Noel Maspono. Her biggest joy in life are her 5 grandchildren Caleb Samuel, Casey Stephen, Scarlett Calyxta, Beckham Knight and Savannah Belle.
She touched the lives of so many with her unconditional love, generosity and kindness. She will be forever missed.
