Brian William van Westervelt was 61 years old when he passed away Sunday, May 28th surrounded by his loving family. Born in Teaneck, Brian was a life long resident of New Milford. He was a avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, and enjoy the beauty of nature. Brian was a Senior Safety Director for ECCO III Enterprises who was responsible to oversee the safety and protection of his workers on various construction projects.
Brian was predeceased by his parents David and Gloria van Westervelt. He is survived by his beloved wife Kim (nee Berndt), devoted daughters Susan De Paola and spouse Mark and Amy Provost and spouse Melissa. Brian is the cherished brother of Keith van Westervelt, Pieter van Westervelt and cousin Russell. He is the loving grandfather of Axel and the angel to look over Raegan. Brian is also survived by many dear nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Boulevard Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1151 River Road, New Milford, NJ on Wednesday, May 31st from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm.
