Bernice Frances Zair Iazzetti, known to all as Bunny, passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025, at the age of 89, surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in the Bronx, she and her husband, Neil Iazzetti, relocated to Miami Beach in the 1950s where they opened an electronics repair shop. In the early 60s they moved to Bergenfield, NJ with their young son and expanded their family to include a second son and a fabulous daughter. She lived most of her life in Bergenfield until combining homes with her daughter and family in New Milford. Bunny was incredibly generous, had a wicked sense of sarcastic humor, “made a living” and had a passion for life, travel and most of all, chocolate. All who knew Bunny loved her, her abundant costume jewelry collection, and her infectious laugh. Her home was always filled with warmth, friends, family and laughter.
Bernice is predeceased by her parents Henry and Frances Zair as well as her husband Neil Iazzetti. She is survived by her loving children Stacey Iazzetti and his wife Dawn Warren, Wayne Iazzetti and his wife Patti, and Allyse Turdo and her husband Dan who kept her happy with an abundance of English muffins, fruit salad and chopped liver. She is survived by her twin sister Rosalyn Goldberg. Bernice is predeceased by her brothers, Lenny Zair and Herbie Zair. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Cassie, Drew, Dean, and Kylie.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Thursday, 11/13 from 4pm to 8pm at the Boulevard Funeral Home, 1151 River Road, New Milford.
