Barbara A. McKeon

Barbara A. McKeon of New Milford was 82 years old when she passed away Saturday, August 2, 2025. Born in New York City, Barbara was raised in the Bronx by her parents, Steven and Julia Mikulka who had moved to New York from Pennsylvania. It was in the Bronx that Barbara would meet and later marry John G. McKeon. The couple would move to New Milford in 1977 where they would raise their family. In her early years, Barbara worked for New York Bell and later be employed by oncologists and ophthalmologists to manage their medical billing. After retiring in 1996, Barbara enjoyed traveling to Atlantic City and Aruba.

Barbara was predeceased by her beloved late husband John G. McKeon, her cherished late daughter Kerrie Marie McKeon, and her dear late brother Stephen Mikulka. She is survived by her loving son Sean P. McKeon and his wife Elizabeth, her cherished sister in law Lois Mikulka, and her devoted grandson Owen Robert McKeon.

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Boulevard Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1151 River Road, New Milford on Wednesday, August 6th from 4 pm to 8 pm. The following morning, Thursday, a funeral mass will be celebrated in her memory at 10 am in the Church of the Ascension, New Milford.
