Arturo Moreno Obituary

Arturo Moreno of Bergenfield, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2019 at the age of 88. He was born to the late Jose and Maria Esperanza Moreno, in Eagle Pass, Texas on April 17, 1930. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Marie (Mimi) Francoise, daughter Anne Marie Price (Earl) and their children Sam and Maggie, son David Moreno (Nancy), their children Alex (Chelsea), Eric and Joe, siblings Oscar Moreno, Patty Martinez and twin sister Licha Gloria.

He graduated from San Jose State University, Ca and attended San Francisco Art Institute where he studied commercial art. After serving in the U.S. Army, stationed in Puerto Rico, he began his career as a commercial artist and moved to New York City where he met his wife, Mimi. They resided in Bergenfield, New Jersey.

He was a loving brother, husband, father and grandfather. He was a free spirit who shared his love of life, art, music and dancing with his family.
