Arnold Aranas Obituary

Arnold Raymond (Noni) Dayao Aranas transitioned to eternal life on January 17, 2021 in Hackensack, New Jersey.

Arnold was born on August 24, 1963 in Manila, Philippines. He is a high school alumnus of the Royal & Pontifical University of Santo Tomas, run by the Dominican Friars. He graduated with a Business degree from the Philippine School of Business Administration.

For several years, Arnold was the Vice President of Informatics Philippines, a leading provider of information, communications and technology training and education.  This is where he also nurtured many valued personal relationships with colleagues, with whom he kept in touch with over the years.  After moving to the United States in 2007, Arnold put his experience to good use and became a respected business development strategist and financial advisor for nearly a decade. Arnold was most recently a manager for a renewable energy firm. Arnold’s work ethic, discipline, and drive to excel brought him far in his career and in all his works.

On his downtime, Arnold loved cars and immensely enjoyed competitive billiards, winning several awards in the game. He was a member of the American Pool Players Association and even coached members at the local pool club. He enjoyed being with friends and his large extended family, sharing stories and good laughter,  often over a good whiskey or wine.

Family was his foremost pride and joy and he tried his very best to provide well for his family. He was very proud of his three talented sons and their various accomplishments as well as the culinary skills of his wife and her job in the United Nations.

He was a man of great faith, was a devotee of the Divine Mercy and never missed the 3 o’clock daily prayer habit, including Padre Pio’s Healing Prayer

Arnold is survived by his wife, Teresa, his sons, Martin, Miguel, and Marco, and their dog, Tobi. He is also survived by his mother, Imelda, and his three siblings Joel, Romina, and Ross and their families, many nieces and nephews, uncles and aunts.

May the angels speed him to the loving embrace of the Lord he loved very much.
