Ann Reilly

Ann Reilly, 95, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, March 12, 2023. Ann was born in Motherwell, Scotland on December 30, 1927 to parents Margaret and John Kellagher. Shortly following her wedding to Bernard Reilly, she would immigrate to the United States with her new husband to live in Woodside, Queens. Later, she would move to New Milford where she raised her three sons and lived for many years. When the boys were grown, Ann moved to Westwood before settling in Emerson, NJ. 

Ann is predeceased by her late husband, Bernard Reilly, and her eldest son, Brian Reilly. She is survived by her loving sons, Stephen and Gerard (Gerry) Reilly, and Gerry’s wife, Kim. The second eldest of five siblings, Ann is the cherished sister of Catherine Nugent and was predeceased by sisters Margaret and May Kellagher as well as brother John Kellagher. Ann (affectionately known as ‘Gran’) was also the proud grandmother of Shannon Reilly, Bonnie (Reilly) Duffy and her husband Joseph Duffy, Christine Reilly and Jack Reilly.

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Boulevard Funeral Home and Cremation Service located at 1511 River Road, New Milford, NJ on Wednesday, March 15th from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. The following morning, a prayer service will be offered in the funeral home at 10am. Burial will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Tenafly, NJ.

Ann will be remembered fondly for her cheeky sense of humor, strong preference for English breakfast tea, and love of QVC.
