Andreas "Andy" Malakas

Andreas "Andy" Malakas of New Milford passed away on June 17, 2020 at the age of 57. Loving husband to his wife Donna, (deceased) parents Victor and Ursula, brother Uwe and his wife Pam, sister Ruth, brother-in-law Randy and his wife Diane and nephews Karl, Erik, David and Jonathan.

Andy devoted his life to public service working at the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office in the Computer Division for over 30 years.  He received his Master’s degree in MIS from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Andy had a special bond with his dog Maxx, taking him for long walks and giving him lots of treats. He treasured all the relationships he developed with numerous friends and colleagues.

Andy will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
