On January 17, 2024, Alpha Labis Ladera, went to be with her Lord surrounded by family members in Englewood, NJ at the age of 75.
Born on December 28, 1948, to Pablo Ladera✝ and Priscilla Labis in Duenas, Iloilo, Philippines. After working as a Registered Pharmacist for 21 years at Mercury Drug Corporation, Alpha came to the United States. She worked at New York Hospital Queens as a Unit Clerk for 15 years until her retirement in 2017.
Alpha is survived by her mother Priscilla Ladera; sisters, Hope; Charity and husband Fernando; nieces, Christine and Sarah; Faith with husband Allen; niece April with husband Gieland; as well as numerous extended family members, friends and former coworkers.
Alpha will be remembered as a kind, strong-willed and hardworking person, who loved her family and friends. She was a great encourager especially to her sisters and spread positivity to whomever she met. Her charisma and enthusiasm, her ability to make friends wherever she went, her laugh will greatly be missed.
Finally, Alpha was a Believer of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is through her life lived and her unwavering faith that she is now with her Lord Father in Heaven.
