Ronald Berndt Obituary

Ronald A. Berndt was born August 16, 1943 to parents Alfred and Anna (Kohlmann) Berndt. He was the beloved husband of the late Linda DeMonte Berndt, devoted father of Kim and her husband Brian Van Westervelt, Daryl Berndt and the late Ronald Berndt. He was the loving grandfather of Susie, Amy and her wife Melissa, Kyle, Kurt, Crysta, Anthony, Chloe, Paul and great grandfather to Stella. Ronald was the brother of the late Alfred, Robert, and Elaine. He proudly served in the US Navy from 1961 to 1967 and as a Volunteer Firefighter with New Milford Fire Company #1 for many years. Ronald was employed with the Bergen County Parks Division. An avid motorcycle rider, he enjoyed ventures and the outdoors with his loving partner Jean Bowers. He was loved by all and will be missed by all.
